P.R.I.D.E.’s instructors are a family … quite literally. In 2018 Master Patrick Hall opened his doors to the public. Along with his brother Master Brian Hall, and mother Master Maura Hall, P.R.I.D.E. has become a family environment where you will find siblings, parents, and even grand parents striving to do their best in the sport together.
Master Patrick Hall is a 5th degree black belt with over 21 years of taekwondo experience. He started training in 2002 and has since then competed at several national and international events. His accomplishments include East Grand Prix Gold Medalist 2022, 3rd place at the 2018 US National Collegiate Taekwondo Championships, quarterfinalist at 2017 US Senior World Championship Team Trials, quarterfinalist at 2017 US National Championships, as well as multiple medals at regional and state championships. In 2018 he received both collegiate and USA taekwondo All-American honors. He is certified as a USAT level 1, Pan American Taekwondo Union (PATU) and World Taekwondo (WT) coach.
Master Hall is a graduate of Siena College with a Bachelors in Sociology as well as having advanced studies in Psychology and Martial Arts Studies from the University of Bridgeport. In his time at Bridgeport he led the University of Bridgeport taekwondo team to a second-place league finish in Division III of the Eastern Collegiate Taekwondo Conference (ECTC) in the 2017-18 season. In addition to competing, he also coached the SUNY Cortland and Skidmore College sparring teams in the ECTC Conference.
He brings a strong presence of leadership having led a number of taekwondo schools and programs. Based on his experience, his goal is to bring exposure to the modern style of Olympic taekwondo competition to the upstate area as well as provide a variety of traditional programs that will allow everyone to enjoy the benefits of taekwondo including fitness, comradery, confidence, discipline and personal achievement.
A 4th Degree black belt and a certified USAT, Pan Ameri-can (PATU) and World Taekwondo (WT) coach. Master Hall has coached at the U.S, Canada and Paris Opens, coaches at the collegiate level for multiple Universities including; R.I.T and the University of Michigan, and has coached multiple national medalists, as well as coaching the University of Bridgeport taekwondo team to a second-place league finish in Division III of the Eastern Colle-giate Taekwondo Conference (ECTC) in the 2017-18 season . As a competi-tor he recently placed 1st at the Connecticut state championships and 3rd at Michigan state champion-ships in 2019 as placing 2nd at Massachusetts in 2018. We are excited to have Master Brian share his experi-ence and expertise with our students.
